Unused Sunroom

The brief for this project was to replace the existing sunroom which was unused and blocked a lot of light from the kitchen. We replaced this with a new extension to increase the kitchen and dining space and also create a small seating area.

The clients had a lovely west facing garden which was unused so the new extension opened onto this space creating an additional patio area and bringing in west light into the kitchen and dining area.

Storage was very important; we created a bank of storage off the kitchen creating a cupboard for each member of the family to house coats, bags, shoes, etc. The end result was a light bright space that gave ample space for dining and also created a whole new seating area with a stove and access to the garden.
